Memoir Workshop with Jerry Waxler
Saturday March 13, 2010, 9am-5pm
Fee: $75 includes all-day workshop and lunch (max. 20 participants)
In this workshop, Jerry Waxler will teach you step-by-step techniques to convert tangled, vague, and disconnected memories into the coherent and compelling language of stories that can be edited, polished, and admired. Throughout the workshop, you will apply lessons taught by Mr. Waxler to develop your own story.

FORMAL POETRY WORKSHOPS

This spring the MAC will host a series of four formal poetry workshops. Workshop leader Anna Evans is a former British citizen now residing in New Jersey. Her poems have appeared in journals such as The Harvard Review,The Atlanta Review, and Rattle .She was a finalist for both the 2005 and 2007 Howard Nemerov sonnet award, and for the 2007 Willis Barnstone Translation Award. She is editor of The Raintown Review and editor of the formal poetry e-zine the Barefoot Muse.
