Welcome

Manayunk Art Center is a thriving non-profit art center in Philadelphia, PA. Housed in a 19th century brick stable, MAC offers various creative educational services to families, individuals and artists in the local community as well as greater Philadelphia. MAC's mission is to develop appreciation of and skill in producing fine arts, literary expression, and related creative and cultural endeavors.

Directions

From Center City Philadelphia or King of Prussia -

Take the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) to the Belmont Avenue exit (at the decorative railroad bridge). If coming from Center City, turn right at the end of the ramp; if coming from King of Prussia, turn left at the ramp. You will pass over a small bridge with a traffic light at the end. Proceed straight through the traffic light and continue up the long hill (this is Green Lane). While going up the hill, you will pass through 3 stop signs. MAC is located between Pechin and Mitchell Streets. MAC is behind residential homes on the odd addressed side of the block, accessed by a red brick driveway in the middle of the block.

 

From Ridge Avenue or Ridge Pike -

Follow Ridge Avenue/Pike to the 6100 block of Ridge Avenue in Roxborough. The stop light with the Wachovia Bank on the corner will be your landmark. At the stoplight, you need to turn onto Green Lane in the direction of the bank. MAC is located between Pechin and Mitchell Streets. MAC is behind residential homes on the odd addressed side of the block, accessed by a red brick driveway in the middle of the block.
